This job comprises participating in all aspects of project development, including complete architectural technical support and the incorporation of all design disciplines. As the design is being created, it serves as a resource for the designer and project manager alike. The function could include acting as the principal technical architect on small to medium-sized projects.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Develops and delivers the lead technical position on projects, ensuring that HNTB systems are leveraged to deliver the design in a consistent manner.
  • Ensures that a technical solution that is compatible with the programme and design is appropriately created and produced. Integrates quality control procedures throughout the design process.
  • Encourages the adoption and enforcement of BIM and design technology standards, best practices, and project team processes.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for small to medium-sized architecture projects and provides assistance with larger ones.
  • Works closely with the project designer and manager to plan and implement all work procedures in accordance with budgets and timeframes. Work responsibilities include creating work plans, predicting time to perform activities, writing project reports, managing consultant team members (including coordination and inclusion of all work products), and approving bills.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

 

What You Will Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in architecture plus six years of relevant experience is required.
  • RA

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Advanced Autodesk Revit expertise.
  • Proficiency in computational design or other new technologies.
  • Resolve technical concerns with the project.
  • Knowledgeable in current and developing tools such as Autodesk Revit, cloud filesharing/collaboration, advanced 3D modelling, and visualisation.
  • Knowledgeable with current accessibility and sustainability rules and requirements.
  • Research specialised building systems.
  • Work closely with the Project Designer to realise the vision of the design.
  • Lead the project team in documentation, modelling, quality control, and consultant coordination.
  • Mentor and train the younger personnel.
