Australian Work Visas Available Without a Job or Sponsorship

1- Skilled Independent Visa, (Subclass 189), Most Common

A point-based system called the Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) enables immigrants to live and work permanently wherever in Australia. Your profession must be listed on the applicable skilled occupation list.

 

  • You are not required to have a sponsor or nominee.
  • You can apply without a job offer or nomination.
  • To apply, you must be invited.

 

  • To get invited, one must be under 45
  • Stay: Permanently
  • 5-month processing time

2- Regional skilled visa, (subclass 887)

If you have previously resided and worked in regional Australia, you may apply for the Skilled Regional visa (subclass 887) to stay and work there permanently.

You are not required to have a sponsor or nominee.

 

  • You can apply without a job offer or nomination.
  • To get invited, one must be under 45
  • Stay: Permanently
  • 4 months for processing

3- Temporary Graduate Visa, (Subclass 485)

 

 

There are three categories for the Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485).

 

1 : Graduate Work Stream

2 : Post Study Workstream

3 : Second Post Study Work Stream

International students who have just graduated from an Australian university are eligible for the Temporary Graduate Visa (485) programme. It enables you to temporarily reside, study, and work in Australia.

 

  • You are not required to have a sponsor or nominee.
  • You can apply without a job offer or nomination.
  • To be invited, one must be under 50.
  • Duration: Transient for 24 Months

4. Recognised Graduate Visa (Subclass 476) Popular

International graduates are permitted to enter Australia on the Subclass 476 Visa if they do not already have a job offer. They are welcome to travel to Australia and work there. They don’t require a job offer, sponsorship, work history, or a bank statement to apply for this visa.

5. Regional Visa for Skilled Workers (Provisional) (subclass 489)
