Teaching with Participate Learning is more than just a profession. It allows for personal development while also providing the possibility to teach full-time in the US education system. International educators create real and successful learning experiences for all students, equipping them to be global citizens.

We are employing creative and passionate Primary school teachers who think that all children may succeed in an exciting collaboration with various districts in North Carolina and Virginia. You will be a cultural ambassador for your country, sharing local traditions and inspiring US students to appreciate the larger globe.

Virginia, as one of the original 13 colonies, is home to several historic sites, including Mount Vernon, George Washington’s first home, and Colonial Williamsburg. Richmond is the state capital and one of the oldest cities in the United States. Outdoor enthusiasts will love visiting the state’s western Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains. In addition, for individuals who enjoy spending time at the seaside, Virginia offers city life in the suburbs of Washington, DC, as well as miles of beachfront access to the Atlantic Ocean.

North Carolina is well-known for its breathtaking natural beauty and dynamic cities. There are many areas for families and single travellers to explore, with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the west, coastal beach communities in the east, and 41 state parks. Raleigh, the state capital, is located in the state’s centre and is part of the “Triangle,” which was recently recognised as the second best place to live in the country by U.S. News & World Report. Charlotte, the state’s largest city, is home to numerous major sports teams as well as a number of museums.

We are looking for motivated teachers who are interested in sharing their culture, embracing American culture, and promoting mutual understanding between Americans and inhabitants of other countries.

All overseas applicants must apply directly to Participate Learning. For for than 30 years, Participate Learning has been an official BridgeUSA exchange visitor programme with the US Department of State, assisting over 10,000 international educators in gaining full-time teaching experience in the US. In collaboration with their host school, Participate Learning is responsible for screening, visa sponsorship, and participant assistance throughout their time in the United States.
