Duties

 

  • aids in the planning, directing, and coordinating of the services, programmes, and policies pertaining to information technology (IT) systems that have been authorised.

Qualification

Direct Hire Authority: The OPM-approved government-wide direct hire authority, 5 U.S.C. 3309–3318, or 5 CFR parts 211 and 337, subpart A, is being used to fill this post.

 

 

 

Specialized Knowledge:

 

 

GS-13: To be eligible for this position, you must have completed a year of specialised work at a level of responsibility and difficulty equal to that of the Federal service’s GS-12 level. Full-time employment is defined as one year of experience; part-time employment is evaluated on a prorated basis. a) Coordinated project activities with internal and external stakeholders; b) effectively communicated (written, oral, presentation) on issues, risks, and solutions related to IT systems; c) identified and analysed problems; distinguished between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical decisions; and provided solutions to individual and organisational problems are examples of qualifying specialised experience at the next lower level for this position.

 

 

 

GS-14: You need to have completed a year of specialised training at a level of responsibility and difficulty comparable to the Federal service’s GS-13 level. Full-time employment is defined as one year of experience; part-time employment is evaluated on a prorated basis. Developed and/or approved IT project plans, schedules, or budgets; b. defined and analysed objectives, scope, issues, or organisational impact of information systems; c. took a position on a topic and assumed ownership to resolve the issue working with stakeholders independently and/or with minimal supervision guidance are examples of qualifying specialised experience at the next lower level for this position.
