Yellowstone Club’s Housekeeping department is now looking for Housekeepers.

The housekeepers will be accountable for cleaning in a way that meets Yellowstone Club standards and surpasses the expectations of our Members and their guests.

Responsibilities include:

  • Clean and maintain luxury homes/lodges ranging in size from 1,000 to over 20,000 square feet.
  • Make beds, change sheets.
  • Clean restrooms
  • Dust your furniture, photos, window ledges, and shelves.
  • Vacuum the carpeted surfaces.
  • Remove rubbish.
  • Sweep, clean, mop and polish wood, laminate and specialty tile floors.
  • Shampoo the carpeted areas
  • Clean kitchens.
  • Stock room essentials like tissues, towels, and bottled water.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas such hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, restaurants, and recreation areas.
  • Deep cleaning as needed.
  • Report damage to the supervisor.
  • Maintain cleaning totes, carts, linen rooms, and housekeeping equipment and supplies in a neat and organised manner.
  • Work with diverse housekeeping teams to reach a high level of efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure secrecy and security of visiting rooms and houses while maintaining Members’ privacy at all times.
  • May assist with laundry as needed.
  • May help prepare new venues, buildings, residences, or other property areas for opening before the club opens.
  • Comply with all Club policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
  • Adhere to OSHA guidelines for chemical handling
  • May delegate jobs and give instructions to other housekeepers.
  • May drive car to transfer laundry/supplies/cleaning team between assignments and other locations on site (optional).

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum three months of housekeeping experience in a luxury resort or private club atmosphere.
  • Speak/write English clearly and legibly.
  • Occasionally speak and/or hear.
  • Frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Use your hands/fingers to handle/lift objects
  • Constantly stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to stand for long durations.
  • Use vision to judge the precision, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Housekeepers who will be driving must be able to operate multi-passenger vehicles, be 20 years of age or older, carry a current valid U.S. or International Driving Licence, have a driving record that meets Yellowstone Club insurance requirements, and be subject to the Yellowstone Club’s Alcohol/Drug Policy and reasonable suspicion/post-accident testing.
  • May be required to work outside in heat, extreme cold, rain, wind, snow or adverse weather.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check, which is paid for by the employer and is conducted equally for US and H-2B workers.

 

The offered employment is seasonal and full-time, with a location in Big Sky, Montana.
