Inside the Role

We’re seeking for a responsible Supervisor to manage the workflow at our locations. The ideal applicant will not just supervise the work of others. A supervisor is also responsible for coaching, problem solving, and acting as a liaison between team members and senior management.

Position offers a starting pay range of $90,000 – $115,000 USD.

Pay is granted based on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive in DTNA

  • Responsible for planning and allocating people to meet the daily needs of the responsible production sectors.
  • Support the formulation of the plant’s strategic plan for improving and implementing the TOS/Lean production system within the targeted operating unit.
  • Support the Training matrix by regularly monitoring and developing Team Leader and employee skill levels as needed to increase flexibility and achieve safety objectives.
  • Promote and implement TOS problem-solving strategies across teams in an effort to increase area efficiency.
  • Administer company and department policies and procedures. Address and resolve any employee relations concerns that emerge.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing by utilising Continuous Improvement and 5S tools.
  • Maintain quality and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct daily inspections of work locations to ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies.

 

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree with two years of supervisory or related experience, an associate’s degree with four years of supervisory or related experience, or eight years of supervisory or related experience is necessary.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a group leader, project lead, or mentor is necessary.
  • An attached résumé is necessary.

Exceptional Candidates May Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, logistics, or a related subject.
  • Supervisory experience in heavy duty manufacturing or a similar context.

Additional Information

Visa sponsorship will only be available to current Daimler Truck North America personnel working under an existing U.S. Daimler Truck North America visa.
