The Yellowstone Club’s Food & Beverage (F&B) department is presently looking for Hosts and Hostesses.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure that each member and guest receives excellent service in a welcoming environment, which includes greeting and thanking each member and guest, maintaining exceptional service standards, great product knowledge, and all other aspects of guest service.
• Empowered to ensure complete member satisfaction, we constantly provide hospitality and professionalism to our members and team members, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club properly to our members and guests, and ensure that all transactions are conducted legally and ethically.
• Understand and follow all property safety and security measures to ensure a secure and safe environment for team members, members, and visitors at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention as needed and call the Manager on Duty or Human Resources right away.
• Maintain good working relationships with all Yellowstone Club team members in order to foster and promote a positive work environment.
• Meet and welcome all members/guests in front of the restaurant.
• Escort members/guests to the table, seat them according to restaurant standards, and offer menus.
• Schedule dining reservations.
• Answer the phone and reply to questions.
• Respond to member/guest needs, address issues, and report occurrences.
• Ensure the tables are cleaned quietly and efficiently.
• Assist other restaurant employees by bringing food/beverage trays, collecting drink orders, and busing tables as needed.
• Communicate dining or order specifics to servers or kitchen, as needed.
• Every day, prepare the restaurant for opening, inspect the dining and serving spaces to verify cleanliness and appropriate setup
• Ensure the operation equipment is clean and in functioning order.
• Maintain/clean the host station and menus.

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of three months of hosting experience in a luxury resort or private club scenario.
• Able to communicate effectively and speak/write English fluently and legibly.
• Regularly necessary to speak and/or hear.
• Frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
• Use your hands/fingers to handle/lift objects
• Constantly stand, walk, climb, or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands/arms.
• Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, funded by the employer, carried out equally among US workers and H-2B workers.

The offered employment is seasonal and full-time, with a location in Big Sky, Montana.
