JOB DESCRIPTION

 

For our clients in the Hospitality and Food Services Industry, we are looking for Cooks with Bartending Experience. The ideal candidates will be passionate about culinary perfection, have experience cooking a variety of dishes, and be able to execute bartending tasks when necessary.

 

 

Food Preparation and Cooking Responsibilities:

 

  • Menu items should be prepared and executed in accordance with specified recipes and presentation.

 

  • standards.

 

  • Ensure that the restaurant’s high standards for food quality, flavour, and presentation are met.

 

  • Maintain the kitchen’s cleanliness and organisation.

 

Bartending:

 

  • Serve guests by combining and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the menu.

 

  • Beverage recipes from a restaurant.

 

  • Maintain responsible alcohol service procedures and abide by all applicable liquor laws.

 

  • Regulations.

 

  • Keep the bar area clean and well-stocked.

 

Collaboration:

 

  • Work with the kitchen team and servers to ensure that food and beverages are served on schedule.

 

  • Communicate efficiently with other staff members to ensure that operations run smoothly during peak times.

 

  • Periods.

 

 

Compliance with Safety and Hygiene Standards:

 

  • Always follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.

 

  • Ensure that all health and safety laws are followed.

 

 

Schedule:

 

  • The day shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Monday through Friday
  • Weekend accessibility

 

Workplace: In person

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven line cooking and bartending expertise in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

 

  • Food preparation, cooking procedures, and presentation skills are required.

 

  • Understanding of different beverages and mixology techniques.

 

  • Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills.

 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

 

  • The ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.

 

  • Certification in Food Safety and Serving It Right is desirable.

For selected individuals, the Employer is willing to apply for LMIAs for 2-year Work Permits. Please keep in mind that the company is willing to support positions in Skilled Job Titles (TEER 0,1,2,3), as well as 100% support for suitable candidates in the Canadian Experience Class, Express Entry, and Provincial Nominee Programmes (OINP, AINP, and BCPNP).
