JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Primary Care Practice Manager
  • Highlights of the Position:
  • Job Title: Practice Manager
  • Northbrook, Illinois
  • Full-time vs. part-time: Full-time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, plus some weekends as needed.
  • Travel will be required to other Medical Group facilities.

 

 

What you will do:

 

  • To maximise patient access to NorthShore services, provide practice management in support of the physician-patient relationship.

 

  • Manage the practice’s operations and respond to patient, physician, and employee concerns as soon as possible.

 

  • Utilise technological advancements to improve patient access to NorthShore services and the overall customer experience.

 

  • Meet revenue cycle performance criteria, analyse monthly physician income and expenses, manage office expenses, and collaborate with physician leaders to communicate financial findings to physicians and staff, as well as execute Medical Group improvement strategies.

 

  • Ensure that the People Management Cycle is routinely implemented for physicians and staff, including recruiting for fit, successful onboarding, career development and coaching, and performance evaluation.

 

 

You will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. A master’s degree in business or a health-related field is preferred.

 

Experience:

 

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare management is required.

 

  • Managed by a physician (physician management) in a physician-led office

 

  • Experience in financial management, operations management, and electronic medical records is preferred.

 

  • Skills: Proven ability to form coalitions, generate results, and manage change.
