We are now hiring Rehabilitation Counsellors through our H1-B sponsorship jobs programme.

What are the requirements?

Candidates must hold the equivalent of a US undergraduate degree (or higher) in one of the following fields:

• Education
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Social Work
• Counselling

CV and diploma copies must be provided.

Candidates must also be able to read, write, and speak English competently.

Candidates would be responsible for their own transportation to the United States.

Recent grads are studying education, psychology, sociology, social work, and counselling.

What exactly is included in the sponsoring programme?

In addition to meaningful full-time employment, the host will provide temporary housing for the first four weeks.

Bancroft will help future employees obtain a driver’s licence, social security cards, bank accounts, transportation, and permanent housing.

Bancroft’s Lakeside Campus for people with autism, intellectual, and developmental challenges provides a stable atmosphere in which each person can live their greatest life. Rehabilitation Counsellors are members of the behavioural support team who provide supervision, direction, training, skill development, and/or rehabilitation to assigned individuals served at a given location in areas such as daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and interpersonal interaction.

How to Make a Real Impact:

• To help persons assisted and their families achieve greater independence, monitor, engage, and give skill building through basic education and development, behavioural support, outreach support, and advocacy.

• Providing vocational support to the folks served in order for them to live emotionally and physically healthy lives.

• Fill out documentation and communicate with residents, families, and guardians.

• Individuals will be transported and accompanied to appointments and community outings.

Qualifications:
