We are seeking for a Commercial Transport Mechanic right now.We take pride in having clean, well-maintained equipment.

 

 

Responsibilities and duties:

 

This role is in charge of all fleet repair and maintenance.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • For candidates outside of Canada, a Red Seal Commercial Transport Mechanic or similar experience is required.

 

  • It is necessary to have a good understanding of and practical knowledge of major truck, trailer, and material handling components.

 

  • Class 5 is legal. A driver’s licence is required, and a Class 3 licence with an air brake endorsement is desirable.

 

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

 

  • Critical thinking, task planning, and organisational abilities

 

  • Reading technical diagrams and instructions

 

  • A strong concern for safety and a responsible work ethic

 

  • possession of basic hand tools and steel-toed boots

 

  • Excellent communication abilities (fluent in English)

 

  • When given direct tasks, she is responsive, but she is also efficient when working alone.

 

 

Compensation:

 

  • Position is full-time and permanent.

 

  • For approved LMIA applicants, the hourly rate ranges from $36.00 to $45.00.

 

  • Red Seal Journeyman earns $45.00 per hour.

  • RRSP-based retirement plan (employer contributions of up to 3% of salaries)
