JOB DESCRIPTION
We are searching for casual/on-call Registered Care Aides to join our team in Sidney.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Residents should receive comprehensive personal, emotional, and psychological care.
- Personal hygiene, oral care, skincare, toileting, bathing, feeding, clothing, and grooming are all provided.
- Use specialised equipment including electric beds, motorised lifts, tubs, and wheelchairs.
- Participate actively in facility meetings and educational programmes.
- Assist with resident admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Be fluent in English verbal, written, and computer communication.
- Ensure the greatest level of resident safety and well-being
- Changes in a resident’s health status should be monitored, reported, and documented.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a Care Aide, RCA, Nursing Assistant, or PSW programme that has been approved.
- Registered with the BC Care Aide Registry and in good standing
- A valid Canadian work permit is required.
- Certificates in First Aid, WHMIS, and Food Safety are required.
- Must be in good health and physically capable of performing all parts of the job.
- Previous Long Term Care experience is preferred.
- Proof of complete immunisation
