JOB DESCRIPTION

What We are Looking For

At HNTB, you may pursue a fulfilling career while also contributing to communities that are important to everyone. For over a century, we have provided solutions for some of the largest and most complicated infrastructure projects in the country. With our unprecedented expansion, now is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.

HNTB-Massachusetts has 68 years of experience providing engineering and planning services to public transport agencies across the Commonwealth. With over 200 brilliant employees, the Massachusetts office routinely delivers complex, award-winning infrastructure projects that have changed the skylines and transportation networks of many cities. The Massachusetts office comprises sites in Boston and Chelmsford, and its team of experts values both client and professional development. Mentorship and Diversity & Inclusion committees are among the office’s programmes that promote ongoing professional development. In addition, the EDGE (Engagement, Development, Growth, and Enrichment) organisation organises unique activities including happy hours, family outings, and community fundraisers. The Massachusetts office consistently completes challenging transportation projects for the Commonwealth. Examples include the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge, the Cape Cod Canal’s Sagamore and Bourne Bridges, the Green Line Extension, and the South Coast Rail Programme.

Our expanding Transportation Department has planned a wide range of local projects, including junction safety upgrades, whole street corridor improvements, and system interchange restoration. HNTB created sophisticated roadway designs for the Whittier Bridge/I-95 Improvement in Amesbury and the I-95 NB Viaduct in Providence. We are committed to reuniting neighbourhoods, enhancing accessibility, and revitalising urban streetscapes, as we did with the multimodal Casey Arborway Improvement Project in Jamaica Plain.
